Welcome and thanks for visiting the Hoody Handout website. My mission and passion since 2009.

In 2009 I raised £345, a small beginning but still pretty amazing for one guy and the response from people who donated was very heart warming. I also did a 10 mile sponsored swim at the open air pool in Hinksey, Oxford to raise money.

In 2010 I raised £1,200 and again visited London, Oxford and Northampton, meeting many interesting people living rough on the streets. I handed out 70 hoodys as well as 15 health packs which included bottled water, healthy snacks and some essentials such as plasters, sanitary hand gel and wet wipes. I also did a special Christmas bonus of 3 packs that included some really nice, expensive stuff to make them feel more like presents that handouts.

With your support I have given to OVER 300 homeless so far and am hoping by march 2014 it will be 350!

H.H. SUMMER 2013

The Summer 2013 Handout has begun! I'm handing out healthy snacks, water, a cheeky juice, vitamins and hand sanitiser (pictured right).

HUGE AND SPECIAL THANKS from Hoody Handout to Gianni Alen-Buckley and Natural Balance Foods, plus all that have supported over the years. Thanks to them and everyone who has helped the 2013 Summer Handout.

I'm aiming to raise £3,500 for this winter. You can help by donating now.

To commemorate the passing of an amazing spirit, Amy Winehouse, I created a special poster (featured left). I took it round to places in London that she frequented and some of her family, band members, friends and many of Amy's admirers signed it. It's going to be auctioned off to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Hoody Handout but prints are available to buy as well. The sale of prints will also go to Hoody Handout so why not grab yourself a copy of this special artwork.
